My studio is in Kentfield, between College of Marin
and Marin General Hospital in Greenbrae, just two
minutes away and just over the D Street Hill from
central San Rafael.
I'm a floral designer, an artistic florist.
I offer hands-on workshop instruction in original floral
design and freestyle ikebana.   If you are an avid
your artistry, check-out my studio workshops.  I
amateur or a professional florist who wants to pursue
create original  floral designs, blending ikebana and
contemporary styles, which I sell to clients in Marin
and San Francisco.  
    Come learn how I do it. I make the workshop
    fit your needs. If you want to go further,
    perhaps set up your own floral design studio, I
    can probably help you incubate that, too.  
My studio is a working atelier for ikebana and flower
arranging, Japanese floral design.

I am a floral designer in the San Francisco Fine Arts
Museums exhibitions, "Bouquets to Art."  
My most recent exhibition at the de Young Museum,
is the bouquet to Chihuly's glass Marine Form at
upper right.
    At immediate right is my bouquet to Joshua
    Johnson's portrait of Letitia Grace McCurdy at the de
    Young in 2006.  
    In the picture at farthest right I am installing my 2005
    arrangement with flowers and shapes to complement
    the Legion of Honor's display of XVIII Century French
    furnishings.
Bouquets to Art has exhibited my designs every
year since 2002 (click here to view More).  
The spotlight of Bouquets to Art is the floral
designer's ultimate opportunity to show her work at
it's best -- the artistry of design is my passion.

Bouquets to Art
Care of Fresh Cut Flowers:
  • Recut stem ends with
    sharp knife
  • Place fresh cut
    flowers into clean
    container with fresh,
    tepid water and floral
    preservatives.
  • Place in cool location
    out of direct sunlight
    and drafts.
  • Replenish water as
    needed and replace
    water every two days.
  • Remove spent flowers.
